Semi Permanent Prairie Adventure...

Tue Nov 10, 2009, 4:04 PM
I've gotten an offer that I don't know if I can refuse... My dad offered me a chance to live on a farm that he owns Southeast of Jamestown in no man's land. It's a three bedroom house where I would have more deer and waterfowl as neighbors than people. He would live with me every weekend and for a while during the winter months... I would live practically rent free and I could go back to school at either JC or VCSU.. I mean being cut off from civilization what else should I do but art and homework?
It's kind of funny because it's what I wanted later in life, and now I have the chance to have my little house on the prairie. I think I'll plant lavender and hollihocks... maybe even have a pet goat. I might also have to start smoking a corncob pipe.. but if I do that then I have to start smoking.
Can I live in isolation?
Will I fit in with the country folk?

The world is my oyster..
